They are almost never in the House or Senate chambers. Usually on the phone in their office asking people for campaign donations to get re-elected, and usually only come out into the chamber to vote or make a speech about their city / town’s championship YMCA softball team. Utter nonsense, considering their paychecks.
They also only work 4 day weeks, and work about 35 weeks per year, when you count all the vacations.
They are the ruling class. The ruling class gets what it wants. It’s that simple.
I think I remember reading about some company out there that organizes cruises on a viking ship and you actually live like a viking while you’re on board. Can anyone provide me with information?
Viking Cruise Lines actually offers cruises on Viking Ships (since they are theirs)

Well the virgin islands are nice but they are not close to the America. The bahama is 30 mins off the south Florida coast. The Bahamas is also pretty cheap to go to.
Noticed a circular devise installed in the windows of all the crab boats on Deadliest Catch. Wondering what is the purpose of the hardware?
I’ve seen them, too — a white plastic-looking ring with a lead or wire leading down. They’re usually seen in the wheelhouse windows very near the captain’s chair. Seems like most of the boats have them. While I’ve never heard anyone say what they are, I’ve always assumed they are some kind of emitter or receiver. It looks to me like it could be a wire or metallic element on or embedded in a window cling (like a decal). If I had to make a guess, I’d say it’s probably an antenna for one of the many communication devices they’ve got jammed into the wheelhouse.
I am looking to find something cheaper than the 6 ppl for 550 smaller boats. I would like to find some kind of cattle boat that hold 15-30 people in order to make it more affordable.

Hi, i am going from Costa Rica to California for vacation, i want to stay for a week in july in a resort.
I am traveling alone and a want to meet cool and nice people.

I didn’t think any cruises had… but now I am hearing overwise.
I have a cruise in a month to the Carribean.

Haven’t heard about ANY. The only ones so far that I could even imagine being affected would be ones out of Galveston or New Orleans. Most of the cruises go out of Florida’s east coast or out of Tampa, and none of those places has been affected by the spill. The spill also is not near any of the ports of call for Caribbean cruises, so, again, there’s no reason to cancel. Even if there were oil near one of the ports, the cruise would be diverted to a different port.
You’ll have more to worry about with possible hurricanes than you will with the oil spill….
