I would like to know of some nice cruises that me and my husband could go on for our 2nd anniversary…We want something nice cause we didn’t have a honeymoon or be alone on our first anniversary. We want to keep it at places that will be warm too. I was also wondering where the best places are to find deals so that we can get food and drinks included in our price.

most of cruise liner go to a warm places during winter, besides they have any kind of itenerary in 5 different continents that will suits your need.
hawaii, southern carribean, panama canal, just to name a few.
there are a lot of cruise liner out there, but Crystal Cruise is on top of the list. it’s quite expensive though, but it’s worth it. Crystal Cruise has been awarded the no 1 spot on the top 10 best cruise liner acccording Condenast Traveller and Travel and Leisure magazine for years.
to name other few cruise liner, Celebrity Cruises, Holland America Line, Disney Cruise, Carnival, Princess Cruise, Costa Cruise, Cunard Line(Ms. Queen Elizabeth II).
there are also some small cruise liner, such as the Yacth of Seaborn, Windstar etc.

How old do you have to be to ride the pedal boats at Lake Balboa. Lake Balboa by Van Nuys, California on Balboa Blvd. Me and my friends wanna go and ride the pedal boats but we are not sure how old you have to be.

I want to live in MN one day (I love cold weather) but I also love skiing. I don’t expect it to be as good as Colorado, but how does it compare?

Colorado (or Utah, BC, Vermont) have much better skiing than Minnesota. I’ve been to Lutsen on the north shore of Lake Superior in Minnesota (Also Whitecap and Big Powderhorn), and they all have some decent terrain (I thought twice about going down some of the runs), but it can’t compare to the "Big Mountain" experience. The pitch on many of the runs is decent, but the runs just aren’t as long as those out west. The other thing is that the Midwest resorts don’t have high speed lifts (I haven’t been in a couple of years). It also gets really cold in January and February. On the plus side, your probably about 1000-2000 feet above sea level, so you won’t get altitude sickness. And the resorts are inexpensive (It’s been a few years since I’ve been).

Short answer: If you’re within a few hours drive, the midwest resorts are a great option for a long weekend.

I heard they have very few vacations, but don’t know exactly how many days or weeks.

N we don`t have that many vacations compared to the States. To answer your question, about 2 weeks of vacation in the whole year. This mainly applies to the working group.
The main holiday is Golden Week and it`s a time when Japanese tend to travel. Golden Week consists of these holidays: Constitution Day, Greenery Day and Children`s Day (May 3,4,5.) N there`s also Obon, which is a Buddhist holiday and is different from regions of Japan. It`s about a week and celebrated either in mid-July or mid-August.
