Can i go to vacations if my permanent resident card has expired ?
Were planning to go to cuba and my permanent resident card has expired…. can i still go .. if not what do i do ?

You need to wait until you get a new one. No, you can not come back if it is expired.

If you are spending US currency earned in the United States (through legal means) in Cuba then you are violating the embargo and will most likely not be allowed back in anyways.

You are always better off renting a condo for a better price in the long run.
There are many nice ones cheaper, with 2 or 3 bathrooms – no contracts
And, you are not tied in to those maintenance fees for a lifetime.
Sure they say you can switch locations – this is expensive to do.

Ask anyone that has a time share – they regret it dearly.
They are extremely hard to sell. Suppose you don’t like it?
Or after 25 years you are tired of it.
IF you must buy one go to EBAY – they are selling them for $1 if you just take over the maintenance fees and taxes. They are people desperate to sell them.

I have a timeshare house in Sardinia in August, I would like to exchange it with a home on the alps to go skiing this winter. I found many websites, but they all want to be paid for subscription, and I’m not comfortable to pay for something I’m not sure it works fine.

Could anyone advice, please?

Try Craigslist.org. The only problem is you have availability in August looking for an exchange during ski season. Worth a try,though.

Holland America is the closest you can get. They leave from the west coast (California), but they are this year. Better have a ton of money and at least a month of time though.

I am beginning my search for 2 vacations for next year. I have been unable to travel this year due to financial situations and I truly want next year to be a great one by starting early. True he spent a lot of those "vacation" days at Camp David. But what they don’t tell you is this is a very secure government complex, full communications and security are already installed. The only difference between Camp David and the White House is it’s in a rural setting with golf courses and other "perks". Been there, seen it, don’t know why the big fuss. Anything comes up it’s a short helicopter flight back to Washington

His trips home to Texas? Again, security is already there to protect the family, it has full communications. When he goes home it still does not require massive plane fulls of personnel and equipment.

Now lets compare to Obama. Martha’s Vinyard? Libs will tell you that Obama paid for his own vacation….this is true. He paid for the rental of the mansion…but not for the cost to fly himself and family there on Air Force1…the two planeloads of armored vehicles, the plane full of secret service agents, their pay and lodging while he vacations.

What is really telling…..he’s doing this just months after getting blasted for the costs of his past vacations to Hawaii and another to Martha’s Vinyard, another to Chicago, other wastefull trips to for the family to Spain…….you get the idea.

His chief spokesman stated “I don’t think Americans out there would begrudge the notion that the president would spend some time with his family.”

True. But us poor, middle class Americans have to settle with taking the family out to a movie (at the cost of about $100 or more)….
